SOLD The Primrose is one of our early spring flowers here in the UK and I've always loved it. I have  painted several times but always wondered how it might look on dark vellum.  I chose this special dark veiny vellum personally from William Cowleys. Cowleys are the only remaining parchment and vellum maker in the UK and Europe. Watercolour with body colour was used to make the pale yellow stand out and I think it worked well. Size 27 x 32 cm. Unframed
