Linnaea borealis, names after carl Linneaus is a beautifil little rare flower found in Scotland. In 2018 I returned to my old home in Aberdeenshire to study these flowers in the ancient pine forests and made some small studies on vellum. This painting is at twice life size and painted on the finest kelmscott vellum. Size 14 x16.5 cm
