Will be exhibiting at Malvern Spring Show RHS display again this year, May 9 - 13. This year my work will feature reproductive mechanisms in flowering plants, in watercolour on vellum.

One of my works is to be included in a new publication edited by Margaret Stevens, former president of the Society of Botanical Artists. The book which is heavily edited a reprint classic text from the turn of the 20th century, by Ernest E. Clark, A Handbook of Plant Form. The book will be launched at this years Society of Botanical Artists annual exhibition at Westminster Halls, London, April 12th - 21st.

Was very honored to receive an invite from the committee of the Florilegium Society at the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney inviting me to become a member, and, to participate in a major exhibition in 2016 celebrating the Bicentenary year of the Gardens. The exhibition will be held at the State Library NSW. The Florilegium will form part of the exhibition illustrating the history of the Garden through some of its most significant plants and planning is also underway to publish the Florilegium. Dr Shirley Sherwood is the patron of the Society. More to follow on this.

Three of my watercolour paintings on vellum included in the Christmas exhibition at the Anthony Woodd Gallery, Dundas Street, Edinburgh, one of which is featured in the catalogue. Private view on the 6th, exhibition opens 7th December.

One of my works to be included in a new book edited by Margaret Stevens, former President of the SBA, 'A Handbook of Plant Form', originally written by Ernest E Clarke and heavily edited with new works from SBA students and members. Now available to pre order on Amazon.
October 9th
Elected as a full member of the Society of Staffordshire Artists.
May 10th -13th
Exhibiting 8 paintings of leaves on vellum at the Malvern Gardening Show as part of the RHS botanical display. I was awarded a Silver medal for the six works on show.
April 20th - 29th
Exhibiting 5 paintings at the SBA annual exhibition at Westminster Central Hall.
March SBA Membership!
I am delighted to announce that I received a telephone call last week followed by a letter today, March 12th ( my birthday), informing me that I have been elected as full member of the Society of Botanical Artists! This follows my Associate membership which was awarded last year. I will be collecting my members Diploma certificate at the SBA annual general meeting at the Westminster hall on the 2nd May.

10th - 18th exhibiting at Meadowlands Gift Shop and Gallery, Banff, as part of NEOS (North East Open Studios) 2011. More information at NEOS.

20th, 27th and 3rd September. Will be running a 3 day Botanical Art Workshop at the Natural History Centre, University of Aberdeen. Details to follow.
